Seminar on Farmland Tax Assessment in New Jersey

A seminar on the origins, intentions and facts about the Farmland Assessment Act will be held 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 4 at 4-H Lockwood Center, Cape May County 4-H Fairgrounds (next to RCE and ACCC), 355 Courthouse-So. Dennis Rd., Cape May Court House.

Seminar on Veterinary Emergency Response 
This event is for NJ Veterinarians, NJ Veterinary Technicians and active members of a NJ CART only

On September 12 and 13 the New Jersey Department of Agriculture, Division of Animal Health and the Animal Emergency Working Group’s (AEWG) Veterinary Services Committee in conjunction with the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association will host a seminar on Veterinary Emergency Response sponsored by a grant from the American Veterinary Medical Foundation. The seminar, aimed at involving the veterinary community in disaster response, will provide an awareness of veterinary medical issues common in disasters. In addition, the seminar will provide core training on the Incident Command System, which is vital for working in disasters.

International Conference on Business Incubators

The Rutgers Food Innovation Center will host a major international conference and networking forum on best practices in food business incubation from October 4-8, 2008 in Cherry Hill.  Food Business Incubation Network 2008, or FoodBIN 2008, will attract a multitude of domestic and international government and university organizations, as well as community non-profits to New Jersey. Attendees will also be able to benefit from the 2008 national conference of the Community Food Security Coalition, which will be held concurrently.
