Red Ribbon Week is celebrated annually from October 23rd to 31st.
Red Ribbon Week highlights the importance of living a drug-free life. It presents an opportunity for parents, educators, and communities to reinforce the drug-free messages they share with their children throughout the year.

Monday, October 23rd
- Wear RED to show your support of Red Ribbon Week!
- Elementary: Work together to create paper links and connect them for a paper chain pledge!
- Middle/High School: Submit your idea to the 2024 Red Ribbon Theme Contest
Tuesday, October 24th
- Wear your favorite TEAM shirt!
- Elementary: Design a t-shirt with a drug-free message using this coloring page.
- Middle School: Watch this video featuring Mike Conley Jr, an NBA basketball player, who talks to Natural High about how his love for basketball led him to lead a drug-free life.
- High School: Visit the Southwest Council table during your lunch to learn about the issues surrounding drugs, alcohol, and vaping.
Wednesday, October 25th
- Elementary: Wear ORANGE! "Orange you glad to be drug free?"
- Take it outside and use sidewalk chalk to create drug free messages.
- Talk to your children about staying drug free by using this guide.
- Middle School: Wear ORANGE AND BLUE!
- Sign your name to the Red Ribbon Sign and post it in your classroom!
- High School: Wear ORANGE AND BLUE!
- Take it to the next level and enter the ShoutDownDrugs.com song contest.
Thursday, October 26th
- Wear NEON or BRIGHT COLORS! "You will have a bright future being drug free!"
- Elementary: Print out this Red Ribbon Sign, sign it, and hang it up at home!
- Middle School: Talk to your student about staying drug free by using this guide.
- High School: Talk to your student about staying drug free by using this guide.
Friday, October 27th
- Wear MISMATCHED clothes! "Don't get mixed up with drugs."
- Elementary: Draw a picture of 3 fun things you can do instead of drugs
- Grade 4: Enter the New Jersey 4th Grade Artwork Contest
- Middle School: Sign the online Red Ribbon pledge
- High School: Sign the online Red Ribbon pledge
